   The Beach Information System is a creation of the Surfrider Foundation of San Clemente in concert with Earth's 911, an Arizona-based group, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It is designed to provide easy access to water quality test results for beaches in their data base. Information is currently available for San Diego County beaches and similar data for Orange County beaches is expected to be online by summer 2001.

   California Hotel Service is a site that offers complete services for the leisure and business traveler. All hotels are rated by AAA and Mobil Travel Guide.  It works with many new discount hotel suppliers to ensure that you get some of the cheapest rates on the Internet.

   California League of Park Associations is a resource to further networking and mutual support among Cooperating Associations linked with the California State Park System.

   The American Birding Association is North America's largest membership organization for active birders. It provides leadership to field birders by increasing their knowledge, skills, and enjoyment of birding and by contributing to bird conservation.

   California State Parks site provides a wealth of information on California's State Parks and Beaches. Places of interest may be searched by name using a simple alphabetical sort. Lots of history is available, too. You can make reservations, quickly find park events in your area, or link to other useful travel-related resources.

   The California Department of Fish & Game

   Life Song is a site created by famed singer, songwriter and marine educator, Ken Watson. It is filled with interesting and useful marine educational information. Check out the Critter of the Week.

   Ocean Images.com has beautiful underwater photos from great diving sites around the world taken by Marine Wildlife Photographer, Tom Haight.

   Reserve America is a one-stop recreation reservation resource for facilities coast-to-coast. Make reservations online or check availability of facilities conveniently categorized by facility type -- camping, wilderness/adventure, cabins, or day use.

   The SeaWorld Adventure Parks site provides easy access to up-to-date information on their parks in California, Florida, Ohio and Texas.

   Scripps Institution of Oceanography is one of the world's oldest, largest, and most important centers for global science research, graduate training, and public service. As part of the Unisversity of California, San Diego, Scripps Institution is world renowned for its preeminence in scientific disciplines relating to biology, physics, chemistry, climatology, geosciences, and geophysics.

   Weather.com [The Weather Channel] is a source of current weather data wherever you are and wherever you're going. Access current weather conditions and forecasts for over 70,000 worldwide locations.
