Historic Photos

The photos in this section represent early Doheny. They range from the early 1930's to the 1960's. The construction photos depict the outstanding work the California Conservation Corp (CCC) performed at Doheny. While the CCC camp was located at San Clemente State Beach, workers routinely traveled to Doheny to work on projects. Where dates have been available, we have shown them.

The Doheny staff hopes you enjoy them and we intend to expand this section as we find other worthwhile historic photos. In the meantime, if you have a photo of early Doheny that you would like us to consider for the website, please contact us.
